DiscipulAs, our Monday morning discipleship group, finished off the year with a little fiesta complete with Christmas music, traditional tamales and a white elephant gift exchange.  We also took some time to think about the most salient thing God has taught us this year and wrote it down on Christmas bulb ornaments.  Mine is shown here and it says "God does the impossible."  My hope is that each of the women in DiscipulAs, including myself, will take out these bulbs every year to hang them on the tree and be reminded of what God has done and has taught us.
