"In the Hands of the Potter" was the theme of our women's retreat held earlier this month. In an effort to fully explore the topic, we had a potter come and show us how to work with clay.

The women loved getting their hands dirty and found it more difficult than they imagined to shape and mold the hard clay. It proved to be an unforgettable lesson in understanding how the Potter shapes and molds us.

Here are the women with their own clay creations. After this, we made our way inside and I spoke to them about the importance of spending regular and quality time with the Potter. Then we had the opportunity to spend some quiet time with God.

You can't have a retreat without food and we had lots of it!
